There's a great thread on the XaraX forum about reproducing leaded glass so I though I'd have a go myself... XaraX makes it so easy!

If someone tried to make me dig my own grave I would say No.

    Frank, that's great!

And guess what I'd have tried in 'leaded glass' if I hadn't spent all night on animated sail trim? (Clue - it includes a 'b' and a 't' but it floats even better than a Beetle!)

If you can do a cool leaded beatle BF, I suppose I can create a leaded glass disc

I even threw in a few gems for Ross.

Listen Gary, you're obviously just toying with me... Let's see you do a leaded glass gel button with a granite texture!

I just had laser eye surgery and my vision is blurry. Actually it is very blurry. With some difficulty I am able to see Gary's gems and they look marvelous! Thanks Gary! Vision is a precious thing and not much is more precious than a sparkly thing.

Big Frank - I like your panel and your beach. I think I'd like it better with a touch more transparency in at least some of the glass. That comment may just reflect my considered preference for leaded glass windows that filter and manipulate the world beyond without hiding it. IMHO, really good leaded glass designs do that. It adds a contextual element and a level of complexity that raises it to a high art.

    Regards, Ross

PS - it is very hard to type when you can't focus on the monitor or the keyboard! Everyone - take good care of your eyes.
