    Rendered in Bryce. I was goofin around with artificial atmosphere and lights.
    The swirling mass is a negative gel projection, in other words instead of positive light I used negative light for the gel.

    great model and very interesting effect! I always have to smile when I read 'negative light'.

    I turned down the lights so you could see the artificial atmosphere, the shadow is from the sun.
