Come on someone must having something that they've always wanted to draw, had problems with and want to learn how - I'm up for the challenge of creating a new mini tutorial!

Hi James
One thing I've long thought about trying to draw is a realistic metallic coin. I tried once but it wasn't very successful. Perhaps you & others would like to give it a shot. Such challenges are a great way for us all to learn from each other.

Hey , I would really like to learn how to trace a realistic photo more professionaly. how to play with depth, or idea for a logo.
as a professional designer you probably know the difference between all the file types... I know what is *.bmp and jpeg and gif... but there are other windows metafiles. If you could explain the difference between the file types I am sure people will appreciate that (I certeinly will http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
For example: In CD you can make fonts and save as truetype...

Availor.
I had problems with metallic coin too.

I'm working on a tutorial at the moment it'll be up within 48 hours
First attempt at a metallic coin. Makes the queen look a little stranger than usual.

Nice drawing masque, could you make a mini tut for it?
I'm not sure I could do a tut for this beyond; 'draw a profile of a queen and stick it in a metalic circle'.
It's drawn using a tablet but its not constructed in a way that I could breakdown into a series of stages very easily.
If anything it needs more definition and a little more contrast, so I might attempt it again and keep copies of various stages if I get a chance.
This one was quite quickly done, about 2 hours. Doing it slower and putting it together in a more orderly manner might allow me to improve it.
Anyway James is doing a tut.
