Did you use an inside bevel on the words?

The needle was a good finishing touch.

Gary,

I am looking forward to starting an online business with it.
Current favourites:

"Home sweet home"
"My home is my castle"
"I love my Mom" and
"Don't worry, be happy!"

Any ideas for new slogans are appreciated!

Judi,
I used an Inner Bevel, rounded, size 3,8, direction 300, contrast 50 and elevation 45.
Thanks for your wonderful brushes !!

Some other ideas for wording that aren't original but perhaps suit the style:

"Never Trust a Skinny Cook"
"In the land of sun&fun we never flush for number one"
"Kiss the Cook"
"No Swearing Allowed"
"Just Do It"
"Wipe Your Feet"
"I Love You Too"
"Who Farted?"
"I know what you are thinking"
"The end is near"
"If you don't succeed, blame your parents"
"Gratuities Accepted"
"ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ0123456789"
"Where's the party?"
"Who invited you?"
"I forget what I forgot"
"It is not your fault"
"Chill Out!"
"Welcome to my crib"
"Sorry about the mess!"
"If you've got the money, I've got the time!"
"Don't blame me"
"Open your heart"
"Stop and smell the roses"
"If only ..."
"Sticks and Stones ..."
"Prime Directive: Don't get cought"
"BYOB" (BYOB = Bring your own booze)
"Keep your teeth in please"
"Why?"

I could go on and on but I won't unless you want more.

Hey Wolfgang, if you use even some of Ross's suggestions you will have an arsenal of things to print up to take to sell at those summer sidewalk fairs or farmers markets if they have those in Austria.

Danke schön I'm glad you liked the brushes.

Wolfgang - I love your picture in your profile! Very creative!

I'm hoping you'll tell us more about your on-line business idea. That is if you don't mind some potentially constructive input from your xaran friends

Here's a really lame example of the ideas that could be offered: Domain name - www.embroidery4thosewhocantsew.com

(And then here's a really good tip: This can be really useful to anyone involved in web development. If you need to develop a domain name there is no better resource I've found than this search engine that searches just domain names. I've linked to the search results for "wolfgang". Here is a link to the search box. This tool is great for finding potential competitors, copycats, and copyright infringers. It can also help by showing you all the similar domain names to your idea names).

Whoa Ross,

you are flattering me by doing domain searches with my name in it !!

Your search engine tip is absolutely great, I did not know about this site. And it even told me, which webserver I am running for my site ..

Your domainproposal is something to think about too, but maybe I should use www.paintedembroideryfortwineallergics.com instead ???

How about starting this business together ?? I could deliver the paintings and you are going to sell them in CA and USA ??
And if we are lucky, fellow Xarans will supply us with slogans eventually ...

How about 60/40 ?? (50/50 only if you insist!!)

Wolfgang

P.S.: Judging by your profile picture, you are more a 'Xarahead' than I am
