This was inspired by the thread that Ken started about filled objects.
The fills are all ones I created in Painter.

oops I don't know how I got a white piece on the right.

Judi - You make very nice fill patterns! Perhaps Thomas needs to start a "Fill Patterns Repository Forum" similar to what he's done for brushes and tips. That way we could share custom fill patterns we've created.
Your cat looks wonderful! Do you know the origins of "calico cats"?

A very Cool cat - Judy!
Your fills look really good! I would most definately find a use for them! ...
Ross's idea for a "Fill Patterns Forum" would be an amazing resource!

It's really great - love his (her?) expression! Do you know the poem "The Gingham Dog and the Calico Cat"? Penny
nice moggy judy,
it's very tangible, i really like all that 'artsy craftsy stuff'
I don't know the origin of Calico Cats Ross. Yes Penny The Gigham Dog and the Calico Cat is one of my favorite childhood poems. I have it on the section on my website called Children's Poem Illustrations. I did some illustrations of some old children poems and printed them up in a little custome made book for my 3 yr. old grandaughter. web page
I have quite a few patterns I've made, I guess you can call it a compulsion of mine. Actually if Thomas put up a section for patterns and textures they could be used by just about all the various graphic programs at Talkgraphics in a TIFF format.
Judi
Love your cat Judi. I especially like the way the fabric at the beginning of the tail looks "bunched".
"Little Boy Blue" is my favorite Field poem. Very sweet and sad. Now you have me thinking of toy dogs and soldiers.
Mickie
judi,
perhaps i should have consulted you before putting patches on the old teddy boys' jacket..
waddaya think of my sewing?
Just as we found that xara is good for doing virtual stained glass work, Judi's image suggests xara would be good for developing quilt patterns. Maybe that could be the subject of a new thread??
