    This is done as a birthday gift. I did one earlier for her brother in the non-xara gallery, titled "A whale of a time."

    She likes Tweety, or she reminds people of Tweety... anyway, Tweety had to be in the picture.

    It's just wonderful, Bob!

    How did you about doing this one? Did you draw the lines first, and then went back to draw the shapes used for the colour?

    Great style - very friendly and inviting. Super job!

    Hi, Risto.

    You are right. I did do the lines first.

    First I did my drawing on paper, just a pencil drawing. Scanned that and imported it to Xara.

    I trace my sketch in Xara, creating all the black lines in the drawing in one layer. In a layer underneath, I add the shapes for colour. The shapes have no outline.

    I use the mouse to create the drawing. Just click, click, click to create a line, then shape it to follow that particular line in the drawing.

    Can't wait for my Daughter to come home, she'll love it as much as I do. Great job, brought a smile to my face after a rather hard day.
