A long time ago we had a spate of recreating Football club emblems. Here's one for Liverpool FC. (Bit big I'm afraid)

Pretty cool egg... You should make it swing like it is hanging from a signboard.

    Guys,
Here's my favorite football team logo. I started as a fan of the Los Angeles Rams back in 1957. Even though the owner moved the team to St. Louis, I'm still a fan and try to see every one of their games. This isn't as complex or ornate as yours, but it's my first one of these. I'm pretty happy with it.

Ron, your logo looks just fine, I'd be pretty happy with it myself.

Something I do once I have a good version of an image is to carefully save it, copy it, and start playing about with the copy, trying different bevels, extrusions, lighting etc, maybe try alternative shapes by subtracting one from another before exporting. You might come up with something you like even better, or perhaps an effect that you can use for another image. Xara3D makes it fun to play!

Great animations Ron. Once you've got the logo shape it's amazing how quickly it is to create additional variations, as Mike says.
