Daniel Will-Harris turned me onto this page The Escher Blowout Contest,

These images were done in Photoshop either by manipulating various Escher images or creating and recreating various famous Escher images.

The contest is open to all.

    Anyone interested?

Egg, your flash animations are brilliant, as usual, and I still have trouble believing the low file size.

I don't think my graphic skills are quite up to that level unfortunately.

Some great work there though. Really imaginative.

The Jaws image makes me laugh when I see it. So does the naked Escher, it's funny.

Technically "Odd man out" the missing guitar puzzle is awsome. I've been experimenting with that technique & it ain't easy folks. There is a program that creates those things at the link below. Didn't order it though...

http://web.inter.nl.net/hcc/Hans.Kuiper/index.html The tesselation image program link is on the left side.

The VW's are nicely done as well.

Glass, Beer & ashtray, the distortion somehow works - cool image.

"55 optical illusions" with interactive graphics & explinations for each. EDUCATIONAL!

I've made this one 1999 with Xara (don't remember the version number. Was it still Corel Xara?).

An easier one to work with. I wanted this for a Flash animation.
