Love the parrot-eagle and monkey!!! So funny, Ivan, the monkey does very definitely have the resemblance to Sean Connery! The parrot-eagle is a wonderful character...gee, these would be great in a story!!!
Wonderful fun work, Ivan!!! Keep 'em coming!

Maya, the more early and widely you want to publish, the less you can keep control on your creations.

Gidgit here is the next version with a lot of corrections (in the forehead too). Of course, the geometry must be good, otherwise expressions are too difficult to change on the faces. But I am at a very early stage in this area. Thanks for your advice !!!

    kindly,
    ivan

Excellent, Ivan! This is a great cat! You are so wise to keep total control of the project and your characters. I hope your story will be published in English too! I would most certainly buy a copy of it!

Hahaha! Ivan, this is yet ANOTHER totally delightful character!!! You are absolutely a natural at this, and it would be great to see these characters together in a book/story or animation! They could comprise a unique little world which would be adored by adults and children alike. These are such fun!!!

Thanks for your encouragements, Maya. In fact I am not interested by animation at this stage. I think there is a large room for comics realized with 3D tools and that's my project. As you saw with the first versions of narciso & réséda modelized with Lightwave, the project was allready advanced some years ago. But time was lacking because the workflow was too slow and not sufficiently intuitive for me in Lightwave modeling (I could not say that about rendering ; Lightwave excels in this area !)
The natural and philosophical environment of my comics stories is already very elaborated and some characters very deeply defined. I am particularly exigeant about keeping control in this area and that's why I prefer to begin with a project I can concretize alone. Probably I will begin with short stories. The first scenes will be rendered in December and the first pages somewhere next year.

(A little problem is they will be in french at first time ...!)

    kindly,
    ivan

    Thanks,

Maya, Silo is a dream for me, I am going back to my early ages of drawing and modeling with plasticine. Yes I allways have been very interested by the inner side of my characters.

Stu, I consider fun as an elementary human right

Dan, despite at this stage it lacks of some cool tools present in Wings, I feel much more friendly with Silo because of its fantastic display quality. At the moment I begin to explore the partial subdivision function, which is very different from the one of Wings. The feedback of Silo's programmers is also very friendly.

    Probably more pictures soon.

    kindly,
    ivan
