    I did it on Painter 7 and it only took me about 10 minutes. Can you beat it?

    Matt!Actually, I did not mean to set a world record in fast drawing. Let me put it otherwise: will you be able to find an easy solution for making similar images? Promise to unveil the trick in a week's time.I also forgot to mention the image was done from scratch. No photo or something was involved.
    Rich, I don't think you used cloning. Guess it is just another photo that looks like an ornament. I don't think cloning is appropriate for your great cameraworks.

    Then image was modified for color and traced. I removed the background layer and overlayed it onto the original image. I have been looking at these images, and will be trying some shaping. Rich

    lees than 5 minutes using xara extreme 4.

    Hi Javier,

    This is almost a 6 year old thread in which the original poster neither revealed the 'trick' (as promised) or has visited the forums in three years.

    Perhaps your image would be better suited to the December 2008 Stop and Post?
