    Yes I really like it, Christine! I remember you have explained a technique close to this one some weeks ago on the main forum. I am pleased to see it at work.

    Here is your tutorial

    And I have tried some of your brushes to reach this kind of 3D effect with shadow. You seem to like plates isn't it? Or is this only for the graphical effects? My parents have some old ones and this is allways interesting to look at their ornaments.

    Doing things like that is pleasure for me - my full time job is I.T. Manager for a Manufacturing company in S E London.

    The border on this plate is also a brush which is a series of circles. I will post the Xar file later when I get home. Then you can dissect it.

    Christine, I really, really like the plate. It reminds of some collectable plates my mother once had in her "china" cabinet
