This was part of a challenge using PhotoImpact7 software. The top car parts were vector shapes made and supplied by someone from another message board for PI. The bottom image is my result from using them. I adjusted the shapes of some of the car parts a bit and used paint tools and dodge and burn to try to get a reasonable glossy reflective look. the background is an ensemble of two stock images which has been given light effects, some blur and just plain burn around the edges. (the reflections are a bit different on the car than would appear in the environment above so it's at least a bit off in that regard). I see a couple things I would have liked to have fixed but maybe some other time.

The thunderbird is an awesome retro car design and as a devout petestrian it's nice to see a batch of nicer looker autos to look at as I walk about (although I havent seen this yet in Halifax except at the car show)

Volv ... you can get the zip file with the UFO file at http://www.dkingdesign.com/stuff/pho...ages/tbird.zip

You would need PhotoImpact to use it (demo at http://www.ulead.com/pi/trial.htm ). The whole challenge was based on this photo which I had posted there. It was at a car show here.
