Egg - Do we see the genesis of another xaraxone guest tutorial? It would be great to see a step-by-step guide to using xara3d and xara X together to create your cup. That is neato cool.

    Regards, Ross'(?) [what's with that?]

    Hi Jens,

Thanks for the kind words. I understand what you mean about the studio camera. The bellows allow you to compensate and get true perspective.

    Hi Egg,

Both of your cups are very good, and I agree about the handle in the second being better. Isn't it interesting how the two programs can compliment each other so well.

    Ross & Soquili
Thanks. I'll see if I can get time to create a tutorial. I'll post it on my site, as I think Gary's in overdrive at the moment. It's really quite simple and yes the 2 do compliment each other very well. I only wish Xara 3D would have .xar import as default and not .wmf

I believe if something belongs to me then its Erics'.
So does something belonging to you become Rosss'
Thats why I had a ? after it

    Hi Egg

If those are bricks behind it, that's a mighty big cup!

Iv'e posted a tutorial at Xara 3D / XaraX tutorial
Peter down south here we drink from REAL mugs. 20" high by my estimation.

Your comment bought back memories of my early days at sea. In the London Docks about twice a shift the PLA sent round tea ladies who supplied the dockers with their tea. The great big tea urns were lowered down the hold on a length of rope. With these came these enormous PLA mugs that even made an East Enders giant hands look dainty. These mugs were always left laying around the holds. As well as making excellent mugs for the crew they also doubled as ideal paint pots and thousands of other uses. Every general cargo ship I ever went on had a vast supply of thes mugs.
    Wish I had one now!

    Ross
Re the use of the apostrophy...
    From LINK

Incidentally, this book also suggests that when a word ends in a double s, we're better off writing its possessive with only an apostrophe: the boss' memo, the witness' statement. Many writers insist, however, that we actually hear an "es" sound attached to the possessive forms of these words, so an apostrophe -s is appropriate: boss's memo, witness's statement. If the look of the three s's in a row doesn't bother you, use that construction.

I'm confused totally now...which English always does to me.

    Hi Egg,

Very good tutorial. I'm always amazed at how versatile programs from Xara can be.
