We had an entire series of moon shots. I got a moderator upset with me, and they just kinda disappeared... We had all kinds of shots from a white dot on Black to some amazing constructs... With the moon where we would like to see it... Must have been about 50 shots from 10 or 15 guys... It was my post tho... and they all went into the bit bucket. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/frown.gif

You get used to the cold, with the humity so low a regular winter down coat will keep you plenty warm. I was colder in Fla in the winter than here. No bone chilling cold. Winters are not really that bad here... the late fall and last spring are our winter time. I have laid out to get a tan on news years... 70 degrees. There is only one way to describe SD weather...

Wait five minutes and it will be different.... http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/frown.gif Gee...well, I missed all that whenever it happened! I think it would be cool to have a thread of moonscape art and photography contributed by whomever wanted to add theirs...even blended into scifi pics if people wanted to do such. Would there be interest in starting a new one? It could be like a challenge thread gallery, or even just be a thread of astronomy-related image artworks. I don't want to get anyone into trouble though...
speaking of changable weather conditions.... http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

i think it would be a great idea. everyone can post the settings they used to achieve their shots. it would be a great learning experience specially for the talently challenged folks like me (sigh) http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/frown.gif

    http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif Mike! Don't go saying you're "talently challenged" = that's totally untrue!!!
Well, that's a vote for a thread -- and yes, if people would add their camera settings (good or bad result-wise) we could all benefit in what to try in the photography realm...that would be a nice option if they want to share the info.

http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif Okay! Go get yer cameras and what not -- I'll set the thread to include any media or app. one wants to use, for a theme to do with generally any sort of evening (including sunset or sunrise and space) scenes captured with camera and/or if wanted added to or adjustments made to with the app of your choice.

TG has it's limit's, though....ya know what I mean, keep it creative, fun, useful and, ahem "clean," guys or the thread will get yanked by a mod. Don't think that my being part of it will save ya! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif If things get "crazy" it'll go over about as well as a finger found in the chilli bowl......okay..... http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/wink.gif http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

See ya in the Dark Room....
