Hi Folks,
During the wee hours of this morning I found a web site for Painter Plugins. I have not used any of these but they look neat. They also have plugins for Xara, Photoshop, Illustrator and several other programs.
If anyone wants to check it out the URL is below.

Mr. Bat,

What's going on? Plugins are suddenly being talked about all over the place! Mike F. (on a few other Painter lists) posted this plugins URL just yesterday or the day before.

The Perspective Grid plugin is really fun! I was just playing with it a few minutes ago.

Here's the original (just a few brush strokes for testing) before applying the plugin:

And after:

Another neat little plugin is on the FantasticMachines site. An example and link are at PixelAlley:

(Sorry if I've posted this one before. My forgettory is working overtime.)

Hi Jinny,
It must be the Phase of the Moon.
I think the use of plugins is OK but risky. It is so easy to get carried away with them, before you know it your work is overdone and lost.

Regards,
Greg

Stecyk,

It's pretty easy to load Nozzles and Nozzle Libraries.

To load a single Nozzle (it will be a RIFF file), in the Brushes palette, open the Nozzle menu, click Load Nozzle, find the nozzle file and load it. Then choose the Image Hose brush type and paint. Be sure to try out all the Image Hose variants.

To load a Nozzle Library (this will be a .NZL file), in the Art Materials palette, open the Nozzles section, then scroll to the bottom of the Nozzles list and click Load Library. Find the Nozzle Library you want and load it. Choose individual Nozzle you want to use, either by clicking the appropriate Nozzle icon or by choosing it from the Nozzles list. Then choose the Image Hose brush type and paint. Again, be sure to try out all the Image Hose variants.

Have fun!
