I have just completed a set of logo designs for a Dallas/Ft. Worth Mortgage Company.

    The logos

    My favorites are: 4, 5, and 12.

I'd love to hear your feedback as it helps me to see whether I have solved the design problem.

I like #10. The house in the D is clever, but subtle. I think I would make Mortgage all caps.

    Gary!

#5 is my choice without dfs in tagline, just "mortgage" http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

... I think #5 would work best for the intended audience.

    I like 1,5,10.

I live about 1.5 hours from DFW.

One thing though. On logo 5 - I understand you are putting the star where the hole in the "d" would be...but, for some reason it "looks" like it is too low and to the left. Maybe try centering the star in the "largest concentration of blue space" if that makes any sense - basically, move it up two pixels and to the right 2-3 pixels. See how that looks...

The client has selected Design 10.

    Good choice, don't you agree.

I love your approach to logo design, but there is always the print consideration along with the idea of a laser printed version as well as what it will look like if faxed from an original letterhead.

I take all of these into consideration when developing a logo so #1, #5 and #10 look like the best to me!

    Great work as usual!!!!

    as always.

I really learn a lot each time I put some logos up for critique.

I'm heartened that so many people like #5. It was one of my favorites.

Thanks again for your constructive criticism.

1, 5, and 10, Gary. As usual ALL of your attempts are creative and merit attention. When I create a logo my first consideration is how it will look on letterhead, a business card, a jacket, and a ball cap. These three work for me.
