The new “board” feature in XaraX6D made this quite easy. Download the coin image below for use as “texture” in step 4.

    In XaraX6D……
    1. Enter the letters X6D
    2. Click on “BOARD” icon
    3. Click on “Design Options” icon and set drop-downs to Board, Rounded and stretch to 100%
    4. Click on “Texture Options” and change drop-down to “Board Faces” and then click on “Load Textures” button. Locate the coin image and click on open. You may need to play around with the Size, Angle, X & Y percentages to get the image to fit properly on the board face.
    5. Repeat STEP 4 for both the “Board Sides” and “Text”

In order to do this, you’ll need to download the X6D trial version if you haven’t already. In my opinion, it is well worth upgrading to X6D.

Extending what Zee has done, if you have XaraX you can import a vector shape to be the face of the shape, then apply a separately cut bitmap as a texture.
