    Dear All--

I was biking to the Post Office on Friday, and fell off my bike. I'm 48 and not all that "bouncy" you know, so needless to say I'm banged up pretty good (I thought a bruised right chest muscle was a broken rib..thatnk goodness it's not).

So if you all don't mind, I'd like to postpone final judging on the 2nd BAP contest until Tuesday?

    My Best,

    Gary,

Hope you are OK. Rode a bicycle this weekend for the first time in several months. Luckily I did not fall but my butt is sore.

Glad you're OK Gary. I'm thinking your gonna be sore for a few days.

I have several more years on you and try and bike at least 3X per week so I wear a helmet, hope you do too.

    Thanks, Bob--

Yeah, I'm sore and my knee looks oooogli, but I'm okay, and I DID hit my head. So here on the Right Coast, when you wipe out on a bicycle (BTW Kiwi, the bike is okay, thanks, and it's a TREK hybrid road bike/touring bike...I replaced a Raleigh and I regret it)...um, you need to buy a new helmet.
One crash=one helmet. So I'm off to the sports shop and the computer store for a new firewire cable.

Can ANYONE explain why firewire connnections don't have screws or a little RJ-11 type "snap" to them so they cannot be easily be pulled apart??? This is my biggest network problem--firewire's fast, but not when the connections come apart so easily. I miss the solidity of a serial or parallel connection, with thumb screws and stuff.

    Best Regards,

If they come apart in your hands then you have to buy new ones,I would say that is the game plan for the cable makers.
