Icon for .swf movie

I am wondering if it's possible to design a custom icon to launch my .swf file.

In the begining the web was dark and void, and the net was with out color or shape, Then there was a Flash and Life came to the web and vision became reality.

I want to know if there is any way to change just the icon of an swf file without converting it to a projector file, but preserving the .swf extension. There are hundreds of free programs that convert projector files, but none seem to preserve .swf format
