Image Ready animated .gif help?

I am trying to make an animated .GIF using Image ready. The problem I am encountering is that every time I create a new frame in the animation palette and apply something to it the same thing happens to the all the previous frames. Does anyone know why this is? Thanks in advance

Go to each previous "frame" and hide that layer...you really should start out with everything you want...create it in photoshop and then modify to gif
