    Photoshopeze hahahahaa ....I do that as well...


    Boeing do you have any 2d pixel editing programs at your disposal?,ie Photoshop,Paintshop Pro,etc etc....

    ok. thanks jens for those examples. however, i want to keep the way i create them (with 3dsmax and Fireworks). but i just want to enhance the text. I think with a better lighting system it will work.

    Sorry bud forgot to reply,good on ya.


    Boeing try a smidegeon of yellow in your key light aimed at the text,because if its white it will make your chrome even more washed out.You could also add a reflection image in the the chrome materials environment channel.

    how do i make reflection environment? is it in the material editor or the environment editor?

    The reflection channel will basically reflect any objects etc around your object with the reflection channel active in its material itself,whereas the environment channel allows you to place an image {like the reflection channel} into its channel enabling the material to reflect only the image within the objects material,so reflection channel - whats around the joint,Environment channel - what in your image you put in the channel becomes the reflection
