That is totally brilliant - penny
I'm with Penny.
Your hair turned out wonderfully!
Big Frank, you are a master! That being said I do find the sky a little too photographic to suit the rest of the drawing. A small point to be sure and I do make it respectfully.
I'm inspired! Thanx - Ross

It's very good, but there's something about that dark patch on her forehead that makes her look almost scalped (like you can see into her head above it, if you see what I mean?)...

You know how they wrap buses with graphics in some cities - well, Xara Ltd. should wrap a vintage VW van with this image and let Frank drive it around the UK/Europe to promote Xara X. He could visit art schools and the like and really help little Xara Ltd. get the word out. When he's home, perhaps his DaisyCam could show the van to the world...
Just an idea - Ross

Penny: Thank you for the kind words!
Ross: You're right... the background dows look a bit too photographic. That's because it is a photograph! I placed the woman onto the background because I had reached my concentration limit! She actually looks pretty good just on a plain white background but I like backgrounds...
Peter: I fought with that forehead bit time and again and it just looked 'almost right' every time. I think it's a case of "can'rt see the wood for the trees". I've just been staring at this picture for too long! Perhaps I should spend some time drawing a piece of rope to take my mind off her! :rolleyes
Ross (again!): Your "Woman on Sunset VW Splittie" is a damn good idea. I think Xara should count themselves fortunate that I would be prepared to take on such an onerous task!
Ah, you've spotted the DaisyCam. At least now you realise why I used the splittie in preference to my own van.

How about Rapunzel? That way you effectively get to do hair and rope ('Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair')... but please don't hit me for that!
So relieved my point about the forehead seems to have been taken constructively - it's probably just that almost straight line of shadow and hair, but it has misled my eyes and might have the same effect on someone else.

Big Frank,
that's breathtaking. Awesome. Fantastic. I press thumbs for you to find a sponsor to airbrush that one onto your car!
I guess I don't have the patience to complete something similar.

...how did you do that hair?
How did you do that smooth shading of the face!?
Big Frank - awesome image!
