That article was what is called in America as "spin"...you know, like you put a positive spin on something?
The chip is still in its theory stage, and Motorola migh be convinced that it's possible, but elementary physics might not.
I, too, wish for more speed more power and all. But ya gotta ask yourself where this info is coming from.
Remember when Apple ran ads of a Pentium chip on a snail? I guess that meant Pentiums are slow compared to Macintoshes, but after Jobs totally pissed off Motorola and IBM, the companies said it's going to be a cold day when you get the Generation 5 chip. So what does Steve Jobs do? He goes around playing down chip speed. IOW, snails now aren't so bad? [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif[/img]
It just sickens me the way manufacturers treat the eternally hopeful users like us. Where do they think they get the research money from?
