    Tim,

Not bad at all! A couple of suggestion if I may..

Reflections on the paint work. You may want to try a more contrasting, sharper, light to dark approach (both whole sections and highlights) verses the high numbered feathering, which gives the color a mat effect.

Transparency on the Wheels. The front wheel looks fine, but the back one looks like it’s turning. You may want to play with the transparency, try applying it vertically verses from side to side.

As I mentioned before, you’ve picked a difficult subject area – but you’re off to a great Start!

    thanks for your encouragement,

Steve, I'm reworking the reflections and the wheel. Thanks for suggestions, if I can get it to turn out, I'll post it again.

take your daughter out for that special dinner for getting you the book? Or have you been too busy working on your car?

I agree with Steve's suggestion to make the reflections in the side panels a bit darker. Not a whole lot, but a little less subtle.

As a matter of fact, Erin called me at work a while back and said...."Gary Priester said that you should treat me to a special dinner out, how about tonight". I told her to pick the place and we all had a great dinner at one of her favorite places.
Don't know what to get her, if I ever get a car that looks just right :-o
