Some graphics created using Line gallery exported in format wmf appear to be different when imported into flash 5 ; shades and gradients become flat colors in flash ;
is there some trick to match the quality of graphics between both programs ??

I'm afraid this is a limitation of Flash. However try exporting from XaraX as a swf file, rather than emf and the results should be better.

I´ve made some experiments to determine dos and dont´s and found that you´re right , export in swf is better than wmf or emf ; in some graphics I could not see any difference ;
I am still lost inside xara x but don´t have doubt I already feel the so many possibilities ;
By the way I intend to construct a site based in old TVs , so that I will have to design vacuum tubes (glass like objects ) , steel sheet (metal like surfaces ) ; any suggestion , tutorial on how to design glass , metal with xara x ?
Thank you very much ,
Cheers
You can find Egg's excellent tutorial on glass here.
