image in eye

hope somebody can help me on this...i have an image of an eye and what should i do if want to place an image on the eye...i did found somewhere on the internet on how to do this but i can't find it anymore...plz help me...thanks!

Crop the image in a circular selection, resize, feather, place over the pupil and apply some transparency or play around with the blend modes perhaps?
