Can anyone help me with the following problem:
I am working at a local newspaper where we use Photoshop and QuarkXpress. Sometimes (fortunately very rarely) when an image is saved in PS as a jpeg, and imported/placed to a page in quark, the image won't show on the page because Quark says the jpg is a pict-file (we mainly use PC:s and Windows).
It doesn't help to reopen the image in PS and saving again, the file is still said to be a pict-file in Quark. The only workaround so far is to save the file locally as a tif, reopen the copy and then saving again as a jpg for the Quark-page.
I don't know if this is a Photoshop issue or a Quark issue, but perhaps someone of you can help me on this one.
