    is it possible to use postscript type 1 fonts in photoimpact 8? Can not find it. may someone can help?

    No, unfortunately you can't. However, if you plan to print to a PostScript printer you can access Print Options' dialog box that gives you some choices about how to edit quality and compression for the printer.
