have your permission to use this as a fill
in my graphics, it looks to have endless possibilities. Very intriguing.

You may use this in any way you like. Every so often, I find an image with exceptional color. I thought this one would be great to share. This was part of an old broken shell that had been in the ocean for some time. I seem to always find these wonderful colors it shells that have been weathered. Rich

I have been gathering more images of this piece of shell. It has been raining and I placed my camera in a plastic bag to get the color at this light condition. I tried stretching the image and vectorizing, but it went to the original image. I vectorized the original image and stretched it from there. I removed some parts and overlayed this back onto the original image. Rich

I love the texture and colours of this image. As Brian points out it makes endless fill possibilities. Have you ever considered making a texture gallery which we could download and use?

    Egg and others

Rich has a set of these fills which are available in the Xara Xone Fills and Brushes page, which you can download when the new site goes on-line January 1. (We are currently closed for remodeling). The fills were posted over a month ago.

The January tutorial just happens to be about repeating pattern stereograms and since Egg's image is a stereogram without the 3D object, I created a stereogram with a hidden object.

Can anyone see what the hidden 3D object is?
