Thanks everyone. I was pleased with the way it turned out...all thanks to the great information shared in these forums. Vladymir and Tao, you're tutorials helped me understand quite a few techniques (hows and whys) a bit better.

I'm hoping to do a series of landscapes. I have an empty space above a 9' sliding glass door where I'd like to put a few small accent pieces...next to the beach! [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif[/img]

Great depth - very clever use of the foreground, it really enhances it.

I like the colors too, sometimes less is more! And it works great here!
