THe best way to learn - good work.

I like the reflection on the green cup/thing. Is everything (including camera) inside a large white box? or did you apply an environment picture?

This started with a simple cylinder and no idea of what I wanted to make. The cylinder was made editable and every 4th column was selected and extruded a small amount. Dropped in a hypernurb and I thought it might become a power transformer or some part of a jet or rocket engine. As I played with points, vertices, segments, and faces; it decided it wanted to be a bud vase. The cube was originally dropped in as something to be reflected in the cylinder. It simply wanted to be an open box so not much was done with it. The Green Thing ;-) started as a cone. It went through several changes and finally decided it was to be an old fashioned ink well, but not just the simple glass type. It wanted to be the Green Thing ;-)
So that everything looked comfortable, four walls and a ceiling were added to the floor object.
