I was kinda wondering why there was no GIMP forum here, as that's a very good image editor that is completely free, and besides is availible in both linux and win32 version, even if win32 is a bit underdeveloped.

My guess would be because not many people have learned how to use it. I have had it on my computer for awhile and it is just easier for me to use PhotoPaint. I keep telling myself I am going to spend time learning Gimp, but when I want to get some work done, I always go back to what I am most familiar with. Maybe someday.
