    Hi,

    Bitstream Font Navigator
(who comes with CorelDraw 8, 9 or 10)
    has been replaced by another
    great font management utility called
    Font Reserve
    (version 2.6.5 Windows and Mac)

I wish, for the next Coreldraw 11 Graphics Suite,
    that this new Font Manager
will be included in the pakage,
    because Font Navigator can’t install
    Fonts properly.

Sometimes he do it, and sometimes he put just
a link in my windows Font Folder!
    I really don’t know why !!!

    Thanks

    Curious

Don't recall a having problems with Font Navigator.

It always installs a short cut in the WIndows\Fonts folder when I add fonts.

I only use Type 1 fonts, and always install them from a Corel CD into a PSFONTS folder out side of the windows\ folder.

I catalgoue the fonts in the PSFONTS folder in Navigator and then add them to predefined groups, when I use navigator to install the fonts it place a shortcut in the windows\fonts folder pointing back to their original location.

The only fonts that come and go without short cuts are the original system TrueType fonts and others that were installed by applications. Which were cataloged by Font Navigator in that location.

    Seems to work ok.
