I use the attached, have been for years.
Of course it requires a keypad.
No problem for me as I have always used a desktop computer.

This has been annoying me for years.
I use versions 11 and 12.
Didn't like 12 very much and went back to using 11.
Now only use 12 for my garden diary!

I use PaintShop Pro (have been a beta tester for Corel for 14 years, but have stopped now.
I use PSP and Xara side by side, the one does things a lot better / easier than the other.

I use Xara version 11 and Xenofex 2 works fine.
Maybe it's something to do with 32 bit or 64 bits as older plugins are written for 32 bit programs.
Could be wrong there, but I haven't been able to...

I have 12 but have gone back to version 11.
Both get a nag screen. I switch it off under Help>Info pop-ups>Turn all off.
This holds for a few days and then the screens return again.
Yes, it annoys...

I often scan photos from a newspaper (usually recipes - then make my own version).
Straight scanning will show the dots, if I scan the picture at a 45 degree angle, there is much less of those...

I am a bit late to the party.. but if this photo was scanned, turn it 45° and then re-scan it.
That's how I remove stripes and dots from newspaper/magazine photos.

This is how I would do that in Xara
(But it's a lot easier in PaintShop Pro)
Open your image>Clone it (Ctrl+K).
Lock the original image.
Highlight the copy+the circle>Ctrl+A, then Ctrl+3 to...
