I am using Xara Pro Version 5 and Webdesigner Version 5.
Non of the files I created with Webdesigner I can open with Xara Pro. I always get the same messege for all files:"Failed to copy XAR files...

I created several websites with Xara Web Designer. Now I bought XARA Pro.
But when I try to open a File created with Web Designer, I get a messege: "Failed to copy XAR files to support folder".

I found the culprit - Skype !!
Many times I had the problem that on some pages ( no pattern ) of my sites
some images showed only half or partly after uploading.
So I uploaded again and again....

Macultra20 has a very good point, I am fighting with the same problem all the time. I have to insert a page tracking code to the bottom of the page. I can not use the "Tracker Code Window" provided...

That means the program not only exports but writes something else to the WebFile.
Once you export, it will re-export every time the preview is invoked. You can follow that...

Looks like you are the only kid left on the block. Even the moderators fell silent.
I'm not sure what you found out other then there is no site left by the time the functions work.

Thanks for trying to help. Which file you want me to give you? The files it generated after "Export". Guess these are the files it uses for the preview after export. If you want the file it generates...

During the design stage everything worked great until I exported. In "Preview" I only can invoke a link using the drop down menu at "Right Click", selecting "Open Link".
