    @egg - my printer wakes itself up and cleans heads itself once a week - I empathise, have been there, one of the reasons I don't use really cheap ink as I have been caught out twice [once too often...

    in the uk at least printer ink is a very competitive market and the suppliers set score by mostly offering free next day delivery, in fact if you do not offer this for anything other than the rubbish...

    if you mean upload a file for others to download - MP4 at 5MB is probably best

    I have forgotten how to embed video into forum, most people seem to use youtube [or vimeo] links these days

    as I am sure you know, SSL certificates are handled through the host cpanel or equivalent, irrespective of the website design.. there are other ways of doing it, but I don't know of any that are...

    you do not need to

    pro + will do everything WD does

    just let it lie without uninstalling - you can then always go back to it if you decide pro+ is not for you

    sorry I used a figure of speech, maybe not clear - just meant to say that xara are not the only ones who have legacy issues with IE - even MS have not quite got it together yet...

    to be fair to xara... if I open an email in MS Office 365 Outlook and I click on the option to view in a browser, it opens it in IE :rolleyes:

    this despite MS's own exhortations never to use IE...

    you have taken off the aspect ratio lock - see small padlock on info bar when in select tool

    have to say that appears to open fine in my xdp15.1 - if you are still using version 10 then your import filter may be outdated ?

    first off make sure it is empty -check the page and layer and bitmap galleries - content may just be hidded

    second it may not be imported in pure vector format anyway, and will almost certainly be...

    in xara afaik the percentage refers to the amount of compression [removal of pixel information], where 100 % in no compresiion ie all the information is there

    what algorithm is used to sachieve...

    then importing the pdf into a new xar file and adjusting for print

    btw: I remember reading somewhere when I first started with xara [so a long time ago] a suggestion by the company that you could use a XAR file simply to store bitmaps in - the options have widened...
