Thanks, Egg. You're right on your observation. I do believe you enter the aircraft through a door on the side of them.

Originally drew this Kalinin K-7 several years ago. Russian design from the 30's. The wingspan was 174 feet, could carry 120 passengers in it's civilian form. They sat in the 7 1/2 foot deep wings....

Re: Henschel Hs P.135 (Work in Progress)

Hi theinonen, I had thought about it in the past, but I just like the drawing part of the illustrations. There are some fantastic modelers around, and I've marvelled at some of the work they produce.

    Re: Blackburn

Don't be sorry, Larry. I give you the good, bad and the ugly. I never did like this plane, but it was an oddity, so I had to draw it. I've used the drawing in other illustrations. Here's another one...

    Re: Pair of Navy Buccaneers.

I think these would have made a great little model with their opening tail cone and folding wings.

    Re: The Galloping Ghost

You accept this kind of an ending when you do this sort of thing, but it was truly tragic that several spectators also lost their lives.

    Re: The Galloping Ghost

Egg, this plane had it's radiator removed (underbelly) to give it less drag. It used some kind of a boil off system if I remember. Photo's of it in it's last race show structural problems. You could...
