You might use Filezilla FTP program to handle your upload chores.. it is the best around and it's free

Another thing you can do is upload your .web files to your host server..each time you update the site,, that way you always have a copy available ..

I don't think Xara can change the size of PDF file but you might want to look at a program called PrimoPDF www.primopdf.com..

This program will reduce PDF's file size.

If you have the web site on a server... You could use the program HTTrack website copier to make a copy of the web site which could be placed on a CD or DVD.

I had to download a "content" file from Xara in order to get the content for each TAB... also then in order to use one of the various options it had to download from Xara... But after doing that all...

Try this to see if you can copy your text from WD7 to MS Word.

1- Click on the Text Tool
2- Select the text you want to copy
3- Start MS Word and paste in the text.

I don't know if you can upgrade to WD7Prem from xara xtreme 5 for a discount... but maybe... check the Xara web site. The use of WD7 will not cause the problems you describle.
