Search:

Make a symlink to your fonts in /usr/share/fonts/truetype or /usr/share/fonts/type1/

That's it. They'll all be there. It will also parse the directories, so you don't have to have a million files...

I have made a cludgy hack to "solve" the problem. I haven't played around with it, but at least it will start now. I won't have Japanese input in Xara, but I can live without it, at least for now.
