Larry, I am surprised this happened as their online account management system is very straightforward and upfront.
Maybe now is the time to buy or try Affinity Designer again for three months! I'm...
Here's an abstract doodle and a badge!

Yep, I’m here at home too, trying to make sense of it all.
On a lighter note, I’ve been attempting one of those January 30 day sketch challenges. The idea is you are meant to get into a daily...
Happy New Year Larry (if it's not too late to say that).
Nice, witches in high heels!
I for one enjoy the monthly scribble challenge and don't think they look too alike.
I've quickly...
Hehe, excellent. You should send it to the Royal Mint.:D
The lack of rigour actually saddens me a bit. There should be some very red faces at the Royal Mint.
I still can’t get over why anyone would add an extra leg to something so fundamentally known...
Egg, I am more than little spooked by that! That is so close to how the original flash animation used to look. I’m definitely going to investigate animating svg’s. Was that done using Vivus?
Probably time for Xara to do a bit of spring cleaning!
Way back, I had some great fun using Flash, but the best stuff was always produced using action script, which I could never quite get my head...
Happy New Year Penny.
Happy (or better) New Year to all.
I like the sound of 'Starting fresh'. It gives me a sense of hope, despite everything.
Merry and Happy Christmas to all.
Happy Christmas Rik.
Hi
Don't know if this will help, but I found when making the registry change, the Xara program mustn't be running, otherwise the change doesn't stick, ie the 0 reverts back to 1.
I only use Designer Pro+ in demo mode* at the moment, but also wanted to voice my concern over "the huge blue and white dotted line that makes doing anything that little bit harder than it used to...
Mmmm, lovely Christmas pudding Penny. Apart from putting up tree, we don't really do much for Christmas nowadays, but we do love (and are very grateful for) our Christmas dinner and pudding(s)!
...
Thanks all :-)
Hellooo
I'm never quite sure what to make of my doodles concocted over the past twelve months, but nevertheless here they are, and they are what they are! I actually missed a couple of months...
It's a shame that DP+ does not work with the India Ink plugin. It's one of my all-time favourite plugins.
I've not actually used it much with photos or tried to achieve a bank note (guilloche)...
Hi Acorn, re ‘new menu font’. I was interpreting (perhaps on reflection, wrongly) the comment made by ‘rsrsrs’ in post #30 about the ‘fontsize in the menu are smaller’.
I’ll have download and...
Sorry, that should have read ‘pretty’ not ‘petty’ in my last post :o
Edit: Ah, that explains it. Thanks Acorn.
With regard to the new menu font, I wonder if the fact that has changed means the HiDPI capability is already built-in but just disabled, perhaps by a registry setting?
Beyond the Nov 2020 updates...
It seems Xara have found another way to encourage you to buy DP+ to access their High DPI (4K) support. I believe this will then allow you to increase your Windows font size settings without making...
I don’t mind ‘Smart Alec’ comments either as long as they are of the funny variety and not harsh or cruel.
I’ve just looked up who Smart Aleck/Alec/Alex was, and he was not a nice man!
