These are amazing graphic works. I especially like the vintage cars. Just a tip: It would help if you know the parts of a vintage car so you could maximize your art pieces.

It has great content. The long page is quite inconvenient though. Anyway, thanks for the link, Albacore.
The work isn't that bad. Is that you in the right photo? For someone so young as you, you displayed great potential.
I think you should try to marry the business with poker, no matter how far apart the two seem to be. It should take a bit of brainstorming and headaches, but there's always a way to work around...
Why can't you work with similar fonts? A little bit of photoshop should give you with the characters you need, unless it would be too troublesome for you to do.
Agree with mwenz. Get rid of the period, move things around a bit, and you're golden. Good job.
It can go one way or another, depending on how wisely you make use of it. Marketing purists might scoff at anything internet related, but online marketing benefits really can't be denied.
That candle and motorcycle actually looks pretty great, and it doesn't really show your inexperience all that much. You obiously have a solid grasp on design and detailing, and whether working on 3D...
Having a fonts forum is a good idea. For one thing, people won't ever run out of things to talk about, If only because there's always a newer and better font coming out with each day.
A very interesting site, though it's hard to see how rewarding it would be to spend so much time trying to become an expert in color and lighting. After all, some of the concepts here seem to be...
Pretty neat tutorials! Not all of them are that interesting, though. Some look pretty awesome to try out, but the others don't really seem worth the effort of doing. Nice jeans!
You can start with concept art. Practice your drawing skills and learn Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. You can move on to 3D graphics later on.
You're not technically "graphically challenged". You just haven't spent the time yet in learning the more advanced skills. I suggest that you look through more tutorials or even get a friend to coach...
I'm getting only the logo and the text as you described so I'm a bit confused. Is there supposed to be more, because it wouldn't be a very good site if there isn't?
Seeing as your question was already answered, I'm going to comment a bit on your logo. I think it needs just a bit more than green because it looks a bit boring this way. Still, it's not a marketing...
I think this happens when the application does not contain the fonts that are in the document. Try printing the pdf as an image.
What a way to simplify the way to make movie posters. But that is exactly how people actually design movie posters these days. Seems like they have a template for every genre. Nice catch.
Different stocks print differently because of the ink absorption so you can't expect prints to turn out identically for different papers. That's why it's good to have some paper or cards in stock for...
That logo hit the nail on the head. Simple yet effective, pretty much what good logos are made of.
