Mike content of a placeholder can cause issues. But simply having multiple placeholders doesn't cause issues in and of itself.

Mike you can have many placeholders. They do not interfere with each other.

Mike is your replace with html exactly as you show in your original post in this thread?
If so you left off the closing /> (forward slash and greater than) characters.

Mike where did you place your placeholder object? For placeholders named <head>, I find it best to have it off the work area and on the grey pasteboard area.
