  1. Re: Terrific artist. Fantastic presentation

Tom is a painter and his paintings are large and detailed down to each hair. This I believe is his first showing of sketches.
  2. Re: Color with Gradient Tool no longer working properly - Native plugin

Explanation helpful. I did notice that when I enabled K the image was there. But you are correct, if the functions are there then Xara should be able to make a duotone with spot colors work.

  4. Terrific artist. Fantastic presentation

Tom Palmore is an incredible realist painter of animals. He is currently having a show of his drawings in Santa Fe.

On the gallery website they have a flip book style catalog of Tom's drawings....

  7. Re: Color with Gradient Tool no longer working properly - Native plugin

I just tried this and I do not get a duotone when I export to PDF/X I get two colors that are CMYK.

  10. Re: Why is the Gear-Config Icon Challenge now a Closed Thread?

My guess is it was closed by accident. I was thinking of closing a few threads—spam control, but I have not gotten around to doing it.

Acorn - That is very knotty.

I am not sure if this is the going rate. It has been some time since I had a paying gig. When my wife and I had our graphic design company in San Francisco, we charged $250 an hour but our clients...

    Re: What to charge?

Figure out what your time is worth per hour and then how many hours you will spend. $1,000 for a redesigning a 40 page site seems low. But then it also depends on the size of the client and what...

    Re: Gear-Config Icon Challenge

Acorns use of the 8-pointed star suggests another way to do this while maintaining the rounded outer shape. This is not accurate to Rik's shape because I did this from memory.
