Today I got same error "Access violation", I couldn't fix it,but I could open my file on safe mode.

So,I could rescue　my file to new xara file. However the error file never open on not safe mode....

I rename C:\Program Files\Xara\Xara Xtreme Pro 4\Filters\HTMLfilter.dll

to HTMLfilter_old.dll
