As for this update and the previous one(s) I had to resort to the online download(a fresh install) because the updater starts>crashes>second run>gives the message "you don't have enough permissions...

Just use the shape painter tool(shift+b)
Hold alt+drag for straight lines
Hold ctrl+alt+drag to constrain to set angles(utilities>options>general>angle constraints)

I did like the easy sharing between the two parts but feel the online editor is lacking to much(take a look at photopea,gravit designer)
The dpi+ is just the xda...

So @Matt ,you're getting back on your promise to have more frequent updates for the xda version? sad!

Had a go at the online version and designer pro+ version.

Sorry to burst the bubble but you pay once for the 1.xxxx version that can be used indefinitely,if one wants to upgrade to version 2.xxxx,3.xxxx you'll have to pay again.

If there were real updates/upgrades I could live with the model but even that isn't the case and my guess is still that the desktop users of xara products are paying for the development of the saas...

I think you forgot to put the sarcasm tags around your reply as it simply isn't shown whatsoever in either this forum or in real product updates.

Simply put,
You upgrade in Jan>you update in May/Okt/Nov and you re install in Dec>you'll be reverted to the Jan version and lose all updates
