Re: How to delete unusued files?

If I recall correctly, optimizing images in an XDA only affects their size in the .xar/.web file, not those that are uploaded to the server as part of the website.

    Re: Bootstrapping the Support Folder

That's pretty nifty, Acorn. Thanks for sharing. Set up a table, export it as .htm and there you go. I haven't even looked at all the possibilities to customize the table.

Would love to comply with your request to check the file, Acorn, but I already removed it from the computer again.

    Re: Scale to Fit Width

Struggler, I installed XWD 18 (the basic version) on a spare computer and I can confirm that the Export tab is not available in this version (neither is the Analytics tab, as Acorn mentioned...

Re: Animation - GIF does not tween

Oops, didn't read your OP carefully enough.

You're right, of course, but Xara has so many tools that need maintenance, updating or even upgrading that I don't wait around for them anymore to...

Re: Animation - GIF does not tween

I'm using XDP 15.1 and have the same results as you. However, when exporting to .AVI (tick 'Make background transparent' in the Animations Properties/AVI Options) tweening works. You, then, can...

Re: Saving Toolbars XWD Premium 17

I thought that a user could save/export the customized UI settings but apparently that's not the case. So, Xara does this automatically. Too bad because it would be nice to port a settings file to...

Re: Saving Toolbars XWD Premium 17

So, v. 17 allows UI settings to be saved? If so, how to proceed?

    Saving Toolbars XWD Premium 17

Next to XDP 15.1, I use XWD Premium 17.1.0.60742. I know the former doesn't allow a custom UI to be saved but I thought the latter does so that it can be ported to a fresh installation or the...

    Re: message from ana

I'm no fan of Xara's communications but in this instance it makes sense to me to have US and European times, as the US is on DST since March 14th and Europe will only follow on the 28th. And I guess...

    Re: A Square Spiral?

That's really interesting to know, Gary. So, what's the maximum amount of planes/layers you've used in a stereogram so that a viewer can still distinguish them?

Jumped right out, all six levels. Is there a limit to the depth and how many layers still being discernable?

  24. Re: I am confused about what I own/.? bought v14 thru Magix>? then ProX v17 direct?

A little compassion in such a situation goes a long way, hd; harsh words are not necessary, as TheeeDragon's experience of not getting what he expected is already the lesson. Perhaps later he'll...
  25. Re: I am confused about what I own/.? bought v14 thru Magix>? then ProX v17 direct?

TheeeDragon, I sympathize with you and I think you make a good point that you were not properly advised that without extending your renewal service you'd not only miss out on any future upgrades but...
