  1. Re: How does one get one's support ticket read and answered by Xara?

Xara has responded and effectively. I am satisfied and glad to be a longstanding Xara customer. :-)
  2. Re: How does one get one's support ticket read and answered by Xara?

I would like to somehow correspond please... The ticket number is (indirectly) #LLU-112-84140. It was partially answered last Friday, which I appreciate. My follow-ups since then on the...
  3. Re: How does one get one's support ticket read and answered by Xara?

I figure that we prefer that Xara remain cost-effective though. Presumably a business can't be both that AND answering support tickets within 48 hours of their being filed. At least it makes this...
  4. Re: How does one get one's support ticket read and answered by Xara?

Xara has since answered part of my pending support ticket so I think it might be best if I delete this thread, to avoid giving third parties the wrong impression. My challenge is that I don't see a...
  5. Re: How does one get one's support ticket read and answered by Xara?

That would be much appreciated, please. Fortunately it's just an administrative matter that's involved. Meanwhile best of luck with Online Designer and other surely very worthwhile projects of...
  6. How does one get one's support ticket read and answered by Xara?

How does one get one's support ticket read and answered by Xara? I sent it in days ago, and each day I submitted a polite follow-up within that ticket, which nevertheless hasn't even been assigned....
  7. A setting in Web Designer that makes sites non-crawlable by search engines?

    Hello:
Is there a setting in Web Designer that makes a site non-crawlable by search engines? If so, how can one find it to deactivate it, please? And can it be left active for merely one...
  8. Re: How can I stop getting a Supersite (4 merged scroll-down pages) from Web Designer

Thanks to all. It seems that there may be a bug that Xara worked with me one-on-one to examine and detect today. Web Designer 10 NONpremium generated a supersite on my main computer during the...
  9. Re: How can I stop getting a Supersite (4 merged scroll-down pages) from Web Designer

Thanks for the reply. In Web Designer 10 (nonpremium), "Web Export Options" doesn't appear in the Utilities menu. I'm not even seeing it when surfing around in the options that ARE available under...
  10. How can I stop getting a Supersite (4 merged scroll-down pages) from Web Designer 10?

How can I stop getting a Supersite (4 merged scroll-down pages) from Web Designer 10 (nonpremium), please? I prefer a normal site (4 individualized pages linked to one another, but not in...
  11. Re: CSS formatting problems emanating from Web Designer 10 (nonpremium)?

How you folks ascertained that that is the problem (i.e. my having not known to FTP the index_html_files too), from what little pertinent information I posted above, is beyond me. But you diagnosed...
  12. CSS formatting problems emanating from Web Designer 10 (nonpremium)?

    Hello:
Might anyone else be having the following sort of problem with websites created in the recently updated Web Designer 10 (nonpremium)? My webhost has examined what I've uploaded recently...
  13. Re: Why did you release Web Designer 10 when it clearly isn't ready for release?

    Hello:
The linking issue (i.e. external links from buttons and photo-containing panels) appears to be resolved by the latest patch. It's nice to see signs of progress. I'm still having FTP...
  14. Re: Why did you release Web Designer 10 when it clearly isn't ready for release?

    Hello to all:
I've been updating the Web Design 10 software (or trying to) each day for the past several days. Fortunately a patch became available today. Xara's Kate (in cancellations)...
  15. Re: Why did you release Web Designer 10 when it clearly isn't ready for release?

Thank you for the feedback. I am astonished at the loyalty that Xara has won from several of you here at these forums. It would seem that they deserve more of the benefit of the doubt than I had...
  16. Re: Why did you release Web Designer 10 when it clearly isn't ready for release?

I've had some awesome apartment mates down in Mexico City, Mexico from Canada, right as NAFTA was going into effect and we were exploring our Southern neighbor (while I tried my best to help it reach...
  17. Re: Why did you release Web Designer 10 when it clearly isn't ready for release?

Thanks Angelize. Are you guys depriving yourself of sleep over in the U.K., or are you in North America? I suspect the former. Please don't lose sleep for me. At any rate, your dedication is...
  18. Re: Why did you release Web Designer 10 when it clearly isn't ready for release?

Thanks for the video suggestion, Zaphodeist. I took up viewing, weeks ago, the Xara-hosted versions (often repeatedly).

Your screenshot did the trick, elegantly enough. Thanks for that as...
  19. Re: Why did you release Web Designer 10 when it clearly isn't ready for release?

I can enlarge the pages that she submitted (by right-clicking on them and going to "page options"), but the images contained therein do not get bigger...just the backgrounds. Ah well. It was...
  20. Re: Why did you release Web Designer 10 when it clearly isn't ready for release?

I do, please. Laugh all you like but unfortunately when I activate the "full screen" feature of the image that Angelize kindly created, it doesn't enlarge. Merely the surrounding backdrop sort of...
  21. Re: Why did you release Web Designer 10 when it clearly isn't ready for release?

I'm still downloading Angelize's document. Hopefully I'm not getting hacked by someone hiding behind the picture of such an innocent looking, well-meaning woman.
  22. Re: Why did you release Web Designer 10 when it clearly isn't ready for release?

    Hi Zaphodeist:
I did indeed try the sub-folder fill-in option. Indeed, my webhost and I varied it a bit, experimentally (to no avail).
  23. Re: Why did you release Web Designer 10 when it clearly isn't ready for release?

    Hi Egg:
Unfortunately the technicians at Pair haven't been able to find whatever's supposedly been uploaded. But I sincerely appreciate the insight.
  24. Re: Why did you release Web Designer 10 when it clearly isn't ready for release?

My webhost (Pair) actually recommended FileZilla, but I think for WordPress. Someone in these forums responded to me that WordPress isn't what I need though, web design-wise. (It wasn't said by...
  25. Re: Why did you release Web Designer 10 when it clearly isn't ready for release?

For publishing (or attempting to do so) in Web Designer 10, I go to:

File --> Publish Website ---> Publish (button).

No change to the hosted website occurs whatsoever, even as Web Designer 10...
