Thank you TJB.
In 2018 I redesigned the masthead for our local monthly newspaper, The Signpost. To keep the banner fresh, we decided to have a different image replace the O in SIGNPOST each month. Most of the...
OK. Hmm? :)
NameCheap has changed recently to update their security. I have had a hosting account with them for over 20 years. But fortunately all my sites were already established so the new changes did not...
Working for me right now. Pro+
How would you save this to play on something like Facebook?
Awesome Fly.
Fun. I could kill half a day watching this. Could you make your solid shapes semi-transparent?
Be my guest Og.
Cool. What kind of bird is this? Not one I have seen in my part of the US.
Dan - eyeTricks is our company name. The depth images, and patterns and final edits are done in Xara and sometimes filtered in Prisma to enhance the pattern.
In the depth image white comes forward...
Heh, heh. Competition. :)
That works really well Egg.
You've done a fine job. If you make the text appear to be shinier you will need to add a reflection in the text that will make the text harder to read. This forum is primarily for Xara users. Xara is...
I used an Art Brush on two hexagons to create the depth image. And processed my image in in Prisma with the Gothic filter.
Correction. I used blends of 6 lines. I can't remember anything any more....
Egg - The pattern is pretty noisy then thin shapes with a lot of depth change. So this might be causing some of the difficulty.
Try following one of the lines around the shapes focusing just on...
This one was tricky. I used an image from a search that is a double spiral. So I was not able to figure out how to do this with the spiral shape.
So I made a vector line of one of the three legs...
Larry - The black and while image, the right hand portion is the hidden image. Dark areas go back and lighter areas come forward. It's a three sided shape made up of connected spirals.
I applied a simple Art Brush gradient fill with a Fallout stroke shape to taper the shape. You can see the simple spiral lines then the applied Art Brush.
I filtered the final image in Prisma...
Yes this is the challenge. Those solid shapes have to repeat across the image to work. Normally in a hidden image with a good random pattern, those repeats are not apparent except to your eye.
Larry, I have suggested this before. Download the image and print it out. You both might have better luck looking at an image on paper.
I deleted your duplicate post.
I frequently create a vector drawing of the outline for the hidden image. But in this case I used the drawing to make the stereogram. The texture of the paper background fills out the hidden image.

So, I am not crazy. :)
