    Horisontal scroll?

Never mind - just found the feature (think I need new glasses - or perhaps eyes...)

Re: Magix Xtreme Photo Story on CD & DVD

Well I found a link in Xara's Store:

    http://www.xara.com/eu/store/

with the same price as in the ad, so I bought it there.

Looks like those who made the ad have linked to the wrong...

Re: Magix Xtreme Photo Story on CD & DVD

Hm, tried to buy it, but it looks like there's something wrong with the prices. The Xara ad says €44.99, but when you try to order it the price is £54.99? (see attached screenshot)

    I checked on...

Ah, OK, hadn't seen that. Thanks! :)
  5. Re: Some Adobe CS5 features that I'd love to see in a future Xara

It doesn't have a real Clone/Stamp tool for example - the one in D6 is pretty useless as a general Clone tool, IMO.

Magix Xtreme Photo Story on CD & DVD

Just got an offer from Xara for "Magix Xtreme Photo Story on CD & DVD 9", 22% off, normal price £69.99.

I checked the review on Computer Active though, it says the price for version 8 was £30. A...

Re: Who needs a Ray Gun when you've got XX...

Well I've consulted Avast about the trojan, they confirm that something suspicious seem to be going on here, so be careful with that file. I've sent an email to the owner of the site about it.

Re: Who needs a Ray Gun when you've got XX...

    Thanks for the link. :)

My virus program (Avast!) however says there's a trojan in spx-dxf.exe on this page:

    http://xaraxtv.at.tut.by/spx.htm

A false positive I suppose, but who knows,...

No PDF version? Don't have Kindle and I don't like hardcopies.

Or any chance it will be put on safaribooksonline.com?

    Re: Version 5.1 Launched

For Xara/Magix, it was obviously a good thing. :)

I was thinking about the users though. If it was my company, I would have stated something like:

"We had not planned to include the WD...

In that case so much more reason for either a full refund or at least a bigger discount for those XX5 upgraders/buyers who already had bought WD. Then thoughts like these probably wouldn't have come...

    Re: Version 5.1 Launched

I think Xara should have told that XX5 would contain the same features as WD when they launched it (I'm pretty sure they knew that then). I'm sure that everyone that owned XX4 and was planning on...

I don't know if the file size affects the samples I've made, but I don't think so. Anyway, having a few hours to test a program is not much, so I skipped it. Maybe I'll test it some more and get it...

    Vextractor

Anyone who have any experience with Vextractor?

Though Xara's tracer is pretty good, I've been looking for a better one. So when I got an offer today for Vextractor (51% off today only):

Very interesting. Since Xara handles Photoshop plugins, will it work with Xara? Anyone tried?

What is Xara using then, for producing the Webstyle elements? If they have a special homemade editor, it would be incredible if they would include it with a next version (wouldn't mind paying a good...

Re: Drop down boxes and scroll wheel

Yes, but it should be easy to make them scrollable also so I wonder why they have chosen not to. In C# both types of boxes (technically they're called comboboxes) are scrollable by default, maybe...
