I did this one right after I downloaded the Xara trial.
For the background I took one of the photos, turned it into a dual tone, rotated it, applied the same weave filter Ross used ,then rotated it...

It does not look like a vector drawing at all.

I took about the same amount of time Big Frank did to set it up.
Jens did all the real work coming up with the elegant, stunning design.
After Frank 3D'd it I couldn't resist giving it...

I don't know about the biggest, but I have to print a tiff to 24ft. by 2ft. (single pannel) at 100 dpi on Tuesday of next week. I posted the layout and picture of a smaller one (19ft x 14in.)...

I have seen a few of those in my house, about the same size.

Most of my layouts are measured in feet - yards - miles - cubits.....

My sphere tool must be broken. I followed Gary's instructions to the letter. I don't know what it is, but mine just don't seem to look right.

I did this before I picked up Xara.
the dark splits in the wood are all hand painted in to give the sign an old beat-up look.

This did happen to me. I found my file in the windows/system/temp directory with the same file name and the .xar changed to .bak
I renamed it back to the .xar extension and the file would reopen...

In my rush to purchase Xara after using the demo for a few days I forgot to inform the controller of the purse strings that I had sent a small amount to the UK. Luckily the bank informed my better...

I was in a rush to finish mine (late as usual) and dropped it.

Xara transparency is amazing - jpg compression killed the fine detail in this export but the full sized one in X is clear as a bell....
